Default 1972 911s Price Question

Starting my research in connection with buying a 72 or 73 911 Targa. What is market for a 1972 911 S Targa. Its a non- matching numbers car. Engine is suppossedly 100 digits off from chassis. Id say condition of the car on a scale of 1-6 with one being concourse is weak 2 bordering on 3.

Also, id like opinions on the value of a 1973 911 E Targa. Numbers matching. Condition strong 2. Thanks.

the early S registry might be able to help you as well.

If you're looking for a purely subjective number with no supporting detail photos to refer to lets just say
a matching numbers '72 or '73 S Targa should set you back minumum 35K plus even in the less than
pristine condition you mentioned.
If it can be had for less consider it a steal.
Prices tend to move up with supporting maintenance records and details of mechanical rebuilds...Bert

Here is the link to the car. Its non-matching numbers. I really have no idea what market is for this car as I am a complete newbie. I just really love the color and have always loved 72 and 73 targas. Also, if you know who to hire for a PPI in Houston, that would be great also. Thanks in advance for any help.

I sold a non matching 73 S Targa that had been fully restored a couple years ago for low 60's.
