- sorry - missed that - didn't see the 135 - yep - that would make me take pause - you really want them to be consistent. And you really want to do a compression and leak down test. USUALLY too - you see funky compression or leak down on cylinder 3 or 6 - they are the two closest to the flywheel and furthest away from the fan.

Realistically - all compression numbers should be with a couple of percentage points of each other. Depends on the leakdown - if they do a cold engine - could be 5-8% - on a warm engine should be under 3% (depending on age) - I am always skeptical of zero leak down results for air cooled engines.

A $30k budget should allow you to find a stellar 911 or 964 with fairly low miles. A 993 would be a bit tougher.

Not mine, but for under a $30k budget for a 3.2......don't think you'll find much better than this. Won't/Can't comment on where final pricing should be.
