Default The New Arrival

It's paid for!!! Now all I have to do is go to Florida this winter and drive it back to Maine with my 9 year old boy. I'll take and post lotsa pictures of the drive. Thanks to all of you who helped, advised and straightened me out(Ed) that led me to the Black Lady. Thanks for putting up with my posts both past and future. I look forward to meeting you all at various events. I'd love to chat some more but I have snow to shovel!

Tim,

She's a beauty! That will be a great and memorable road trip with your son.

You certainly live in a beautiful part of the world...it's been a while since I've been to Acadia NP - we moved to NC from Durham,Maine about three years ago. We definitely need to get back up there for a vacation.

But a cabriolet in Maine?! You'll only be able to put the top down for about three weeks each year.

hmm this makes me wonder... are the rear seats almost usable on a cabrio? Great car by the way, and i'm sure you will have the same love/hate relationship i have with black (Looks amazing clean, but just looking at it wrong makes it dirty)

John: I looked for quite some time for the right car with tan interior. I have a black interior in my Grand Cherokee and it's a little depressing on all the bad weather days we have here in Maine.

Veleno: That score would be Cabrio=Wife very happy! Started out looking at coupes until I discovered the path of least resistance!

Euronavy: I hear you on the color. Have had black before. I'll look for a Targa daily driver in the next 6 months with a more user friendly color.

GT9111: Didn't know it was really a Targa in disguise? Thanks for straightening me out!

Paul: Let me know when you get up this way. You're also right with the climate here. In Maine we have two seasons, winter and almost winter! Hopefully it has a good heater!

Tim, I'm glad it all worked out- she's a beauty. (But, don't blame me if something breaks!) just kidding!

Now, you'd better hurry and get her before the snow hits.....errrrr.....sorry, too late on that!

Ed: Roger on that. I grew up going to my aunt/uncle's house in Escondido in the 60's and my uncle would take me for rides in the hills east of town in his Ford Bronco. Would someday like to have a place in Carlsbad.

Nice car. Best of luck with her. I don't envy the drive after what we just went through.

Nice looking ride - welcome to the club.

Enjoy the trip home. Long distance rides in these cars are far too enjoyable - I completed a cross Canada tour in my SC this year. Awesome experience if interested in hearing about it, my eastern swing is wrote up here: http://jsbulmercreations.blogspot.com/
