Default Who makes these Fuch's?

Hi,

I have a set of Fuch's that have been sitting in my storage unit for a couple of years. They came off of a '72 project car. I am about 95% sure they are replicas and therefore would like some input on who makes them so I can accurately determine their worth. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

They look like refinished originals to me. Lug nut seats were not finished from the factory.

Not to dig up old threads, but I figured it was easier than posting a new thread. The general opinion is that these are original Fuchs that have been refinished...with that being the case, can someone please weigh in on an agreed value of these wheels & tires as I am looking to downsize my storage unit and need to make some room.

Thanks!

Similar sets list locally for $600 - $1000, but who knows what they actually get. The sevens do have value on their own. The only "value" the sixes hold is in being donor centers for 3 piece 8's and 9's.

i bought 4 7 by 16s for 500 dollars , they werent nearly as nice as yours and were without tires. I think the valuation above may be pretty close ..

a '72 would have all 6" Fuchs on all 4 corners. I would value the tires at zero, or negative value if they are over 5 years old. 6" Fuchs might be worth $200 to $250 each if they are in nice condition and perfectly straight. If they are warped, then no one is going to want them.

16x6's easily go for $250 each as donor centers for custom 17" Fuchs, the 7's are worth a little less because they're easier to find and not as high in demand.

Would it be fair to ask $800 (plus shipping) for the set?

Looks like they have some scratches around the lips but why not ... throw them on ebay and make your reserve 800 and see what happens ..

you will need more pics showing all wheels and authenticity tho.

I cant see any pics, but I bought a nice set of refurbed 7 & 8's for $1200 with nice tires on them. Shipping on the other hand cost me $180 across the country.

A nice set of 6 & 7 will get 700-1000 with nice tires....

1200 for 7s and 8s sounds pretty decent .. if they were in good shape .. the real money is in the 8s obviously.
