I found a third option: an 88 targa with 55K miles, top end done.

The price is a bit higher than the A car though. I'm going to drive the A car this weekend. The other two are over 3 hours away so I'm going to have to reserve a full day if I want to see and drive them in person.

Option A is $22K, Option B is $20K and Option C is $25K

Checking with the Excellence buyers guide, the price range is from $18-$25K for the G50 Carrera Targa's.

Another question, does the oil consumption gradually get worse or does it rapidly get worse at a certain point (and what point is that)?
