I'm looking for someone in the L.A. area who can recharge the A/C in my '86 Carrera. I still have the original system and have been using R12. I know the stuff is hard to get and can be expensive but after a recharge the system works surprisingly well.

Hoping to find someone who will not charge an arm and a leg. If you know of anyone please let me know.

R12 costs about $75/lb and your system will take
about 2 lbs. The labor may be 1/2 - 1 hr @ $75/hr.

There are many shops which I work with that have
R12 on the west side. Look in the phone book.

Swiss Motors, Stuttgart, Redline, Specialist,
German Car, German Autotechnik, and many more.
