5k?? Not a chance in the world. The interior is completely gone, paint is also a complete loss. The hood has exposed primer...soon it will be bare and begin to rust.....it would need to be almost free to keep from being upside down in it.

I wish that was a <75. I'd buy it-I happen to have a lot of cool parts for it.

That is a beautiful car........ I hate to be picky but I'm looking for a '78 or newer, mostly for the 3.0 and all the improvements therein. :-(

Mileage? Buy it for $1000.00 providing it runs and transmission still shifts(?), and part it out. You will learn if you want to buy another Porsche in a better condition.

I've been told it runs by the owner and several other people. No idea on the mileage but I assume it isn't outrageously high. I would be happy to pay $1,000 for it and take my time cleaning it up, taking it apart, and fixing what is sensible along the way. I honestly would never part it out.

So I was in the same position you're in a couple of weeks ago and all I want to say is if you can get it for super cheap or free then go for it. Nothing like completing a project car that you can be proud of.

What did you end up with, or end up doing? If you got a car you should post a pic!
I agree about completing a project car. I've done several and they have all been worthwhile to one degree or another.

Yes I got the car. I'm still working on it when I have time (which seems to be on sundays) so not much is getting done at the pace I'd like to be at. I'll try to snap some pictures.
