Driving the 911 today in this perfect weather we are having. Stopped by the cleaners and someone in line with me asked if I wanted to sell. I declined but the gentleman went on and on about how he missed his Boxster.

I told him this was a completely different animal and he may enjoy the experience.

He again asked if I wanted to sell and I told him not today.

Good feeling.....I don't get people offering to buy my Hyundai although I do get compliments.

LOL, I always get a big head driving Ruby. Compliments, stares, offers, questions....all in stride and part of the joy.

It's amazing how many comments, thumbs up, and acknowledgements I get when driving my car. After 25-30+ years, these cars still have a lot of appeal. The shape is so iconic and recognizable, everybody knows what kind of car it is.

Typically the first question is "what year is your car?". I haven't had anybody offer to buy my car...yet. I wouldn't sell it anyway. Owning a 911 is not for the timid or attention-averse.
