Post Running Hot

I posted this in the 930 Forum as well, but the guys on here were so incredibly helpful with my diff issue, I figured I would double dip. I recently purchased a 1987 930 and was told by the shop that did the PPI that it had an upgraded High Capacity Oil cooler...while this is true, the oil cooler is located behind the front air dam..wasn't a problem when the car had a RUF front air dam...now that it is back to stock, the oil cooler can't breathe and the car really heats up in traffic. I am thinking that I am going to keep the aftermarket and run a "Y" joint to the stock...hopefully afterwards I will be Kool and the Gang. I am new to the forums and the 930 scene. I was hoping to tap some of the knowledge on rennlist to help locate a stock oil cooler without breaking the bank. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

i dont know whats stock on a turbo .. they may be different given the turbo generates so much heat .. not sure it would make a difference in traffic anyway as there is no air flow .. what are you defining as hot ? you really need an oil cooler with a fan like the more recent models use.
