Crankshaft oil seal replacement

Crankshaft oil seal replacement
I have an 86 Carerra with a leaking rear crankshaft oil seal. Makes for an oil spotted rear end.
Can it be replaced with the engine in the car?
If so how do I accomplish this and are there any special tools that I need to have? How do tighten the pulley bolt/nut without the crankshaft turning also?

you can remove the tranny with the engine still installed.. it's not fun for me, but some guys do it routinely.. easier for me to drop the engine/tranny combo.. and the seal can be replaced.. maybe do a "search" for more info. if your not familiar with what to look for on the seal install...........Ron
