All other things being equal, how much of a dollar figure would you assign the difference between a 60k mile car and a 120k mile car? Thanks.

Pre or Post valve guide replacement?
If the 120k car has had it's valve guides done and the 60k car hasn't, may be reason to believe the 120k car is a better buy.

dpends on the car too... SC cars have no issue with valve guides. But if the case has been opened to do head studs Dougs rules apply. I would use the oil usage as a guide along with your PPi to determine the best value car.

My car w/ 85k miles has the original engine (and gearbox for that matter)and has had no work done on it's valve guides. It was inspected and found to be in very good condition. So it also depends on the driving style, regular use and preventative maintenance of the previous owner/s. When I was looking for an air/cooled 911, I was only interested in buying ( or assuming guardianship) from a PCA member/long time enthusiast.
