Post 76 euro/4spd

I posted this once before with little response
going to give it another try.I'm looking at a 76 Euro 911 with a correct rebuid engine and a 4spd trans.Does anyone know anything about the 4 spd version of the 915 trans and what are the advantages/disadvantages of the 4 compared the 5 spd and the same for a euro to usa car?
It seemed to be faster compared to similar 5spd cars.
Thanks,
Steve

Its the same 915 that was used on e thru k series. The fifth gear was optional in many markets. In the 4 spd reverse was accessed differently. In 76 std r/p was 8:31(as in the 5spd)
4 spd gearing: 3.182, 1.6, 1.08, .821

5 spd gearing: 3.182, 1.833, 1.261, 1.000, 0.821
