Default PB vs Rubber Bushings

Recently installed bilstein hds & 22/28 torsion bars on my 88 targa. Car also lowered to euro spec. Now the car squeaks and I am continuing down the slippery slope and will replace the bushings.
The car is used for street only, and unfortunately mostly highway commuting. As such I don't want to increase ride stiffness more than the current setup.
What's the collective wisdom on pb vs rubber bushings for sound and stiffness?
Thanks.

I put PB on my old 911SC. The rubber bushings were shot so it may not be a straight across comparison. I did like the PB bushings though, they rode nice and were quiet. I greased them once a year as is recommended.

The elephant rubber bushings and Weltmeister are both a tiny bit stiffer than stock, but not overly harsh. You'll notice a huge improvement in high speed stability.
