Default Black Wax

I remember back in the day, there used to be different colored waxes, that would fill in chips, etc. This still around, because I have some chips on the hood an front valence that I would like to have filled in w/ a simple wax application.

Haven't seen black wax in a while, but Jack Olsen gave me the idea of using a black sharpie to touch up those little stone chips on a black car...

I still have the 1/2 bottle left over of Turtle wax black magic. Yes, it's nice since it fills up the scratches or rock chips w/ black color instead of white wax.

I don't have any experience with the colored wax, but does it really work on chips? I can see filling in a scratch.

PCST,
Can you tell us how big your rock chips were?

I ended up using Dr Color Chip and this product worked well. I think after a while you have to reapply.

I use turtle black box and really like the results. I prefer to use a da buffer to apply it. Not a bad move to wear gloves as it stains your hands.
