You asked about silicone... there is good silicone and bad silicone. the good/food grade silicone is quite useful.... the bad/petroleum based silicone is harmful to certain things...rubber,paint ect...so like with most things, if you don't know what you got.... stay away from it !

Ed, Liquid Glass, Wow ! I used that back in the 80's on my Corvette and really loved it. I had thought they quit making it. I started seeing it in auto parts stores a while ago but was sure it wasn't available for a while.

It's hard to find, but there are some online retailers with the stuff.

One other thing... Meguiars is a good product. I don't use it because there's just too many other products out there that I like better, but that 's just me. You shouldn't worry about anything Megs makes.

The p21S is very good but doesnt last long . one os the issues of pure wax i guess . the synthetic stuff lasts way longer. the guy up the street uses zaino on his black 996 and it looks incredible. he spends a whole weekend doing it though there are so many steps to it .. i usually drive by in my 911 and wave as he is waxing

For those of you that use P21S, you might want to visit your local Harley Dealership. Many are selling S100 which looks just like P21S but for half the price. The blue and white container looks the same except it says "Give your bike the ultimate showbike shine in minutes! I think the address is even the same ... Branford, CT

Andy, that's an impressive detailing setup. Richard Griot would be proud!
