Default rebuilt ECU now running rich?

Maybe it's a coincidence but immediately after installing a newly rebuilt ECU the car( 1988 911 coupe) started running very rich. I returned the rebuilt ECU and they( ECU Specialists...great guys) sent another....still running very rich...lots of blue smoke....and some gas coming out of exhaust. Any ideas out there? Help is hard to find locally here 7 hours North of Detroit.

thanks, Dwight Johnson

It's probably not the ECU then. I would check the fuel pressure and eliminate the CHT sensor as a culprit. But I hate to say it, blue smoke is oil, not fuel.
