Thanks, guys! That's where I went this morning, but I was figuring I was in the wrong place because the chip didn't say Steve's name on it. haha. Now I have to figure out if my '87 is a 24 or 28 pin. I guess I have to take the control unit out and apart to tell.

His only problem is being too humble to use his name to market the chips he programs. But 911chips.com is him. He will be very helpful in getting you the right chip. He's a great guy.

I have had 2 SW chips, on my 88' and now on my 84' and can say without a doubt that Steve is awesome.
Taking the DME out and checking to see which chip you have is rather easy, and I believe that Steve even has instructions on his website...good luck!
