Question Refurbished Blaupunkt or Becker Radio's

Hi -- does anyone know of a good source for original, refurbished Blaupunkt (Frankfurt am/fm, Bamberg, Coburg, Koln) or Becker (Mexico) radio's?

I just purchased a 1973 911E and it has a newer Blaupunkt radio that I would like to replace with a more period correct radio.

Many Thanks!

Although the Bambergs had great low noise front ends
allow me to dissuade you from this model.........

We had several of these which ended up in our local land fill.

Here is why, the tape transport system in these Bambergs (both older and newer versions), were very prone to failure.

And, as time went on, parts and service was non-existent.

Good luck,

Gerry

talk to your dealer. Porsche(and benz) both used to offer refurbished factory stereos covering all vintages for a very resonable price. Specifically Becker IIRC.

Many thanks for everyone's input and advice. I was able to get an almost new beautiful Becker Mexico auto seeking cassette unit.

Thanks again for your help - Much appreciated!
