I have a 1973 911T 2.4L MFI motor. At 4000 rpm under hard acceloration there is a VERY NOTICEABLE bucking. This only happens under HARD acceloration. If I accelorate normally there is no problem. I have replaced the fuel tank, all fuel lines, electric fuel pump, and ejectors. In addition I have replaced the plug wires, plugs dist. cap, rotor, points and coil. I really need help with this one.

C'mon guys, I really need help here. I have spoken to a few people over the phone and they have suggested that the two lines on the sides of the fuel filter may be backwards. I have also been told that the fuel control rack piston or plunger??? could be sticking. This is a real problem. This car needs to be able to use the power within and not drive like granny on the way to church.

have you changed your fuel filter?
is your distributor advance working correctly?
have you properly configured your MFI system?
wish i had an answer for you, but sounds like you've done a lot of ground work already.

Scott,
Have you tried richening the mid-range (sometimes called 'part-load') adjustment a few clicks? One of the classic signs of too lean a setting is stumbling at mid-range rpms, about 3000 or so. Your symptom is not quite classic, but it's close enough to warrant trying an adjustment.
