Converting from US spec 2.7L to ROW 2.7 for 77 targa. My brother-in-law has come across this item and has no electricial connections from his chassis to mate up with it. Does anyone know what type of switch this is and what it is for?

That is an aftermarket throttle switch, likely for a cruise control system or something. Definitely not factory.
