'86 911 sunroof coupe w/ 23,000 miles
12/19/01 in New York and I'm driving my coupe with the roof open.
I realize this ain't the classifieds, and I'm not selling the "Red Sled", but I forgot to mention yesterday, when I stopped by Prestige Porsche to show the boys there my new engine, they had received in trade on a 2000 Boxster (if you can believe it) an '86 S/R coupe, guards & black with 23,000 on the clock. Seems the guy who owned the car "likes convertibles".
I know the car and the mileage is true. This same dealership had sold the car with 8,000 miles on it about a year ago. In fact, the car was just serviced at DeMan's, the same place that did my 3.6 conversion.
Since I already own a guards red Carrera w/ black interior I didn't inquire as to how much $$ they're asking for the car, but if anyone out there is looking for a beautiful, low mileage 3.2 Carrera, give Prestige Porsche in Nanuet, New York a call.

P.S.: They also have a gorgeous, low miles '89 speedster on the showroom floor (also in guards red). Can't understand what that "convertible guy" was thinking. Oh well, to each his (or her) own Porsche I say.
