Probably watched it 100 times in the weeks before I bought my 86. I think Gordon Robertson has a pretty sweet gig.

The other Porsche Experience videos are pretty cool, too.

I too watched it repeatedly in the run up to purchase. I simply cannot believe I actually own one of these now. Finally got the tail out a little the other day too...

Nice vid, thanks. I'd be really bummed if I'd not had Ruby out for some exercise yesterday morning for the first time in 8 weeks. With the exception of when I rebuilt the motor, that's the longest she's sat for 10 years. Awesome cars, but they do get better when they "mature" to 3.4.

Watch that video every now an then. I love his comment that oversteer is the driver and not the car. How true.

Yeah, I loved that comment too!

This was the first time I saw the video, thank you for posting.

I thought it was very well done and makes me badly want to drive mine (just got to finish it first... arrgghh!)

I'm of the opinion that a car can certainly have understeer or oversteer. This is why race cars have to go thru a setup to optimize a car to a particular track's traits, and align that with the driver(s)'s preferences. It is then up to the driver to control it or use it to his/her benefit. A great example of this is when, in some turns, letting off the gas completely, will induce the natural trailing throttle oversteer in a 911 and allow the rear to come around and rotate the car quickly. Then, the driver applies the appropriate amount of throttle at the proper time to arrest the oversteer and accelerate out of the turn.
