Default Taking a Cruise to Hawaii

I dropped off both of our German children yesterday in Dallas for their surf/turf voyage to Hawaii. First a nice truck drive to California followed by a nice cruise on Pasha Hawaii to the Islands.

After the acceptance inspection, the two inspectors moved them to the holding lot. I went back to make sure of one detail and they were taking cell phone pictures. They remarked that they were real nice cars and hoped I didn't mind if they were taking pictures. I told them as long as the pictures weren't for e-Bay I didn't mind!

Should arrive in a few weeks.

Aloha! Welcome to Hawaii! Are you with PCA? I just stepped down as Pres due to family responsibilities.

When your cars get here, you will be required to get a vehicle safety inspection. the sticker goes on the rt rear bumper like so.

You can also opt to get a safety inspection plate, but it also needs to go on the rt rear bumper, or offset to the rt., like this.

If there is still time left on your TX reg, you can keep the TX plates, but need to get an out of state reg sticker like this.

Yes, we are members...hoping there is an active club with some good things to do...thanks for the intel on the inspection...prefer to do the bolt on to the plate vs a sticker though...

If they are going to the big island I can help drive them from 6/5 to 6/14.

One of my Brother-in-laws had a 996 and a 987 shipped from New York to Kona years ago.

How long are you in Dallas?

Ruf Auto Center has a Cars & Bikes GTG tomorrow at 9am where you can see some exotic hardware.

I can even provide a ride if you are in the North Dallas area.

Just got back from a week-long family trip to Kona this morning on the redeye...I did see several 911s and a few Boxsters - what a place to drive Porsches!

Enjoy your rides in paradise!

If I'm there, I'll probably be at the start and leave after that.
