Default Dwell Angle Help

Hi guys,

I accidently loosened the screw on the points and don't know how to get the dwell angle back. Any help is greatly appreciated, the car is a '72 911E.

Thanks

Chris

I've always had good luck with putting a paper match between the contacts while the cam is at it's highest point.

Ghetto, but it always works for me.

Picture is off a VW, but it's the same concept.

Thanks amber lamps! It took me some time, but I got it done. I set the points, timing and idle. I learned old school ignition and timing in a few hours thanks to you! Now I can drive it in an autocross.
