SSI & SS muffler pass smog check in CA ?

Does any one in this group live in CA and has mod the exshaut system with SSI and has passed smog check in CA.

It will pass the sniffer test, provided you have no other mods and it is otherwise running properly. Since the cats are missing it will fail the visual if the tech knows what he is looking at or bothers to check. Often they don't check or don't know and the SSIs look suspiciously like cats to the uninitiate. So many SSI equipped cars sail through without issue.
