so naturally I am curiouos... can the T-Bar be removed thru the "dust cover" without unbolting the whole thing, pulling it all out? I never thought of it but if it does that would be pretty easy (providing you can source the dust cover)

nope - you are off
those caps go in the body panel (think guards red in my case)
29 is open..
the dust cap is in 24
when I set my angles I used the calculator and inclinometer and yes, you have to pull it out, rotate one click right one click left and F*&^ around till you hit it...really didnt take but a couple tries and about 1/2 hour. In my case I was "guessing" the angle with help and hope - since changing bars AND ride height. Its fun...trust me... real fun!
and the "dust cover" is not something I have seen anyone else take off... which is why the OP cannot source the part and will be looking for salvage or replacement #24's

You can remove the t-bar with the dust cover in situ. The problem is that quite often the spring plate is stuck onto the tbar, so people end up removing the dust cover to try to knock the bar off of the spring plate. If the spring plate is stuck onto the bar, you won't be able to get it out. Of course the body plates have to be out

yes, I see how that would be an issue, and makes sense as to why someone might take off the dust cover... mine came off that end OK but were a bear to pull out from the car (center) splines
still no pics from the OP...

BTW Newbies... THAT pic is exactly what completely worn out rear bushings look like - rubber ones always sag a little but should be pretty much in the middle when new... harder bushings keep it centered
Its a quick thing to check...then ya know

And some people say flip the springplates around and re-use. I say replace the rubber with new. Otherwise. Instead of a Weissach axle, you'll have a Warsaw axle.
