My pleasure, its great to be on here! Btw I didn't take it as pretentious and I understand where you were coming from, I'm also real easy to get along with + thick skin. The collective knowledge of the people on here, some of which are techs and some literally rocket scientitsts is what makes it so successful. Having said that, It is a roof though not a susp pick up point

I vaguely remember the description of removing the gutters as a process that goes in steps, because the gutters are a seam where several sheets come together. Or something like that.

You can unfold the gutters (3 sheets come together at the fold) in fact that is how you replace the roof skin, welding in minimal from factory.
