Moses,
What's been done to your motor? I'm looking for a 3.2, but would consider a 3.0. 7k seems a bit high for 90k miles, but if its been "tweeked", I may be interested.

JMILLER,
The easy answer is not hard at all, only time and money. :-)
For your car, which I beleive has the 901 tranny, I think you will need to do some type of mod to the transmission to get it to mate properly. Also, you need to consider adding an external cooler if you do not already have one installed.
I am looking at similar option for my '73. I have a 915 tranny but no external cooler. From what I gather, the only other work is to swap 'em out.

The late 901 (70/71) bolts right up to a 3.0 motor. If you maintain CIS there is some wiring to be done. You need a later fuel pump, fuel accumulator, CD ignition box. Also if the motor is 1980 or above the CIS brain box and O2 sensor provision in the exhaust.
External oil cooler is needed, may also need a later oil tank or custom make some of the oil lines.
