Default pulled the trigger...help

Hi all -

I ended up working out a deal on this car today. Thanks for all who contributed to my recent posts regarding the car. It checked out great. It's strong and clean. It does have a bit of oxidation on passenger side rear panel and door. I should be able to buff it out a good bit. But overall it's a great looker. I love the color combo. (Nougat Brown / Brown)

Drove it for about an hour today. A great experience for sure...

Top end rebuild by last owner at 95K (p-car mechanic in Fla.) along with a new clutch at that time. 107K on the clock now.

The interior is very clean other than some obvious wear on the driver's seat.

I'm looking forward to many years of enjoyment as I tinker on it and run it about the north GA mountains.

Now if I can just stay sane for the next few days... I won't be able to take delivery until Sunday or Monday

Once I do have the car in my possession I'll be sure to follow up with many pics. This one will have to do for now.

Oh yeah! The car is pretty much stock. Soooo much I'll wanna do. I think the first thing will be a new three spoke steering wheel. Then probably re-do the seats. Then possibly new exhaust, suspension, etc, etc... I would like the car to have a bit more umph so possibly chip and cai...? Not sure what all can be done on these cars. They are quite a bit different from my old 993. It'll be fun though!

That color combo is sweet. Congrats on the purchase, good luck and enjoy it in good health. You can never post too many pics of it though.

Congrats. I'd check the suspension out sooner, rather than later. A bit of R&R at this point, if not already done, will make it feel like a new car.

Ed, what specifically would you be looking for in the suspension? Especially if one were looking to justify some mods...

Bushings and shocks. Even redoing to stock specs will be noticable.

Then, there are upgrades: polybronze bushings from Elephant Racing, heavier torsion bars, custom-valved shocks to match, monoballs, etc....I can help you spend money!
