That thing has to be loud as hell at speed. The engine's resting against the rear seats!

That being said, I would LOVE to be the guy with 125K to spend tricking out a VW Bus.

Ah well, back to work.

$125,000? Oh, I'd much prefer a hot-rodded microbus over a 911 Turbo ... wouldn't you??

$125k? I choked when I spent $1k on an engine rebuild on my bus! Regardless, that thing is pretty trick.

$125,000 on a slammed micro-bus ????
The guy is a real rocket-scientist.

For that much money, I'd rather have a 89 Speedster, a 1994 Turbo, a 57 oval sunroof with an Okrassa engine, and I would still have some $$$ left over for modifications.

then there's brian over at s-car-go racing (san rafel) who has a 2.7 in his 80 vanagon. *much* more practical and cheaper. but hey, tiptronic is nice, i guess, so are 18s and that momo.. &lt;drool&gt;
