Default Hershey Thread

Wow it seams its geting late and this forum doesn't have it's official Hershey thread it seems.

i will be going lone gunman style as always .. Will have My Grey 2009 maxima there.

Looks like my buddies busted shift rod repair didn't go so well, where it tore apart is where the donut bushing rides so hard to repair and make perfect.

i wonder if there are any vendors goin who could bring him a shift rod fom a 78 - 83

Go look on the 993 board. I'm sure they'll welcome another Rennlister of the air cooled variety. They've even got name tags going!

I thought about it, as my wife is from Lancaster, but flights weren't cheap enough.

One of these days...

No flights are cheap now, I just spent almost $2k for two domestic round trips- one in June and one in July! Ridiculoso.

I was going to go but the weather is sounding like shyt. Did it once in the rain and promised myself I'd
never do it again, it sucked.

Am very tempted to drive my old 80 911sc there. If I take some towels, I can fold the passenger seat all the way back and could fit just about anything in the car. Rims, bumpers, anything except a hood. Yeah, average porsche owner would never do that but my car is a driver and not a show queen

I'm in Columbus Ohio so it would be a 6 hr drive but I have family members about 1 hr or less from Hershey, so that means free room and board the night before and after.

Same here, crappy weather forecast has me on the fence.

Well, while I love Clive like a brother - it's actually not HE who is saying these things.

Two independent forecasting groups are showing radically differing forecasts. So I'm not contrdicting Clive - I'm suggesting there's substantial risk that it will rain - and that risk alone has tipped the balance for our group and we're not going.

If you DO go - let us know how it turns out!
