I will be helping a friend restore the seats in his 1983 911SC. We will be using a kit from ColorPlus, however I'm not sure how to find the color code of his interior...it is leather for sure and a lighter tan color. I had a cork interior long ago and that was much darker than his. On their website, it's close to 459 Cream Beige, but also very close to 461 Parchment...any help would be appreciated!
Is there some way to find out for sure?

I havent seen too many downsides, seems to work very well. Like a good paint job though, it's all in the prep. He was ready to throw out the seats a buy new ones so I figured it was worth a shot. It would be much easier if I knew the exact color code!

I used it to dye some Boxster red seats that had been in direct sun with the top down most of its life in S FL and it they came out great, much better than I had anticipated. I started by spraying it on, but ended up with the rag wipe method and covered both seats with about half what I figured on using. the seats still looked the same when I sold the car three years later, and I never had any fading, wearing off, get on clothes, or any of the things I had heard could be issues.
