Post anyone coverted to AWD?

I was just wondering if it was possible to convert an early 911 74- 83 to AWD. I'm going to start a project soon.

thanks,
Jeff

I think the problem with converting a pre 964 car to AWD is that there are no provisions under the car for all of that extra hardware, driveshaft/propshaft/whatever, front differential, etc.... I'm guessing you'd have to hack up and weld in new stuff in the pan and front end. Probably be a real pain trying to do all of that and work around the front suspension/steering.
