Almost time to sell the E46 M3 - possible trade for 993/964/911 G50?
Hey Everybody,
Before I list my 2001 BMW M3 for sale in about a month, I thought might see if someone was interested in a trade or partial trade toward a 993/964/911 G50 (manual transmission coupe only please) now. I think it's time to start driving a Porsche daily
M3 info:
- steel grey on imola red
- 6 speed manual
- 123K miles
- no nav (I imagine would be pretty outdated by now anyway)
- every other option for 2001 - xenon lights, heated and power seats w/adjustable bolsters, moonroof, leather, etc
- service records from new (only BMW recommended Castrol 10W-60 used)
- rod bearing recall done
- rear subframe floor dealer inspected and OK
- I performed an Inspection II (with valve adjustment) at 120K miles.
- New Michelin Ps2s (all 4) approximately 6K miles ago
- Completely stock except for OEM BMW E92 M3 wheels (these are 1/2 inch wider than the stock 18" wheels and IMHO much better looking)
- recent water pump, fuel pump, themostat, and rear control arm bushings
- Very solid mechanically
- Interior is excellent
- Cosmetic flaws (exterior) of a daily driver (various scratches and dings) but still looks pretty good
Anyway, thought I'd give it a shot before I go down the craigslist/autotrader route. If you have questions, please fire away.
Cheers,
Joe
