ENGINE NUMBERS AND THEIR I.D. ???
Any help on figuring out engine numbers?
I have the following number on my '69 that had an engine change before I acquired it.They are:
631380.
And the number on our '78 SC are:
6280569.
930.106.101.OR
Any light shed on this would be much appreciated!

The first engine number is missing a digit. The 631xxxx engine series were either the 1971 911S or the 1981 911SC. The second engine number is within the range for the 1978 911SC US/Canada engines.
