Hello,

I'm trying to remove my oil tank from my 65 911. It has always leaked and is covered in grease. I want to get it out, clean it up, and look for any visible leaks.

Any recommended procedures for removal? I have the two mounting nuts off and all of the lines off, it's loose but not dropping out. Does the oil filter mount have to come off the tank?

Also, are there any common leak points on the tank that I should be looking for?
