Default Got Turbo Wheels On My 911!

It took some searching, but I found a set of 930 wheels after posting a want ad on Pelican. (Thanks, Leonard!)

I received the wheels last Wednesday, painted them on Thursday, mounted Dunlop rubber on Friday, was rolling by Sunday. (Had to go out of town on Saturday. Only wrench in my plans!)

I love the way the wheels fill out the fenders. The ride is great. I'm glad that I held out for the originals instead of going with aftermarket rims. They are SO LIGHT!

Great find! They look great on your car with the fresh coat of paint.
I like the photo of the wheels on the hardwood floor - outside of their normal environment.

Woo very nice! Is yours narrow or wide body? cant really tell from your photo? If its narrow, awesome that they fit so well.

It looks narrow to me. When I put the turbo wheels on my Carrera, I had no fitment issues at all.

They look great BTW. Nothing quite like the GP white paint and black center Fuchs. And they fill the space out better than the 6s and 7s you had previously.

I've got a very nice set of Fuchs 8s & 9s with new R888s mounted for sale. Ad is somewhere in the classifieds.

Yup - it's narrow. I never had a "problem" with my 6s and 7s, but now I really like the way the 7s and 8s fill out the wheel wells. It looks more aggressive.

Thank you. I used Rustoleum Professional Semi-Gloss black. I used this when I repainted my original set and it's done very well for the past 2 years of service. Went on nice too.
