I just pulled it off the windscreen of my '88 3.2. I understand there is a coating on the inside of the screen. So my question is what adhesive should I use? I assume that warming the glass and the mirror mounting would be a good idea. Any other thoughts?

Get some Permatex mirror adhesive. It can be found at any auto parts store. Did mine 7 years ago-no problem since.
