Default Front Caliper ID

Can anyone ID this caliper with the photo? If not what would tell me what it is?

TIA

That's odd. I wanna say SC or Carrera, but would need to know the rotor thickness or even better, the cylinder diameter.

That looks pre-Carrera. But, it's been a few years since I've looked at one in detail. I can see if I have some pics.

11" diameter rotor (estimated due to spacer). 0.79" or 2.0066 centimeter thickness.

My old front and rears....not the best angle though. And then there is the "super-size" calipers on now.

It looks like Carreras and the SC's are very similar. Here's a picture of my 87 Carrera. Maybe Eric from PMB can shed some light.

The sc and Carrera calipers differ only in the spacers between the caliper halves, due to the thicker rotors of the latter. You can put Brembo BRs on the Carrera rotors, but then you'd probably burn them up real fast, lol. Or go Sir Ed style and get some real brakes on there!

ID'd From Pelican Forum. SC "A" calipers. ID from 3.5" mounting bolt spacing and that they are made from iron.

Note the similarities in the calipers in post #1 and #6 and #8.
