Default German Motorcraft

Has anyone had any experiences with German Motorcraft in Colorado Springs. I'm shopping for a local mechanic.

salukijac;
I had a pre-purchase inspection by Jack and German Motorcraft last weekend. They are no longer in the repair business. They want to concentrate on restorations. However I didn't find that out until Jack was driving what is now my car...for the first part of the inspection.

So give him a call and see what happens. He sure knows 911's. I was impressed.

Jack at German Motorcraft is great. He knows his stuff, and his part prices are good. I wasnt aware that he wasnt doing repairs anymore....I'd still give him a call.

myropa,
I just talked to Jack at German Motorcraft and he said they're still doing repairs as well as restorations and track cars. My car will be going to him in a few weeks and then I can report on my experience.

Went by GM and talked to jack. He said he's still doing repairs, just he doesnt want the heavy volume. His shop is the only one I would go to in Colorado Springs, never had any issues there.

salukijac what side of the springs are you? Ive never seen your car before.

I'm in the north part of town by the Academy and work at Schriever. I'm a PCA member but only manage to make it to one or two meetings a year.

Time to relive this thread. I regularly took my car to Jack but now he is retired and German Motorcraft is no longer open. Any other good Indy Porsche Mechanic in COS?
