Not looking to buy, just looking to see if you are a Rennlister.
This car would be a 1989 Targa in Grand Prix White with a Blue interior. It came from the factory with Sport Seats with blue plaid inserts, M030 suspension, LSD, rear window wiper, short shift, raised hub, white wheels, Cloisonne crests on the wheels. It also had a front lip spoiler only, but who knows by now...
It was built in May/June of 1989. The delivery paperwork would show Checkered Flag Porsche in Virgina Beach. If it still has the original warrranty service book, there would be several stamps early on from Brumos Porsche in Jacksonville with the dealer stamp 930.
When last seen, it was sent to auction in Florida in 1993 (the year I traded it in for an RS America)
If you own a 1989 Targa meeting this description, I may be the original owner of that car. I would enjoy chatting with you and telling you about the first 4 years of that cars life with me. You will not be disappointed.
It is best to PM me since I do not lurk on this particular forum (I'm a 996er as you can see by my signature, and am a regular on that forum).

Yeah,... I know. I've been looking for something left over from those days with the VIN on it. Plenty of photos, but no VIN-related stuff anymore.
Over the past couple years I have been decreasing my enormous oversupply of Porsche stuff. Most of it has gone to Rennlisters here. I did a 356 Registry swap meet a month ago (we can do that here in Florida in January) and finally sold the very last piece of memorabilia from that car - the original cassette cleaner kit, in the original Porsche factory burgundy "fitted" container.
