Default Advice: a 1 cm long bolt fell into the engine bay

So, I was installing my newly acquired Turbo tail and it all went smoothly... except a small, 1 cm bolt fell into the engine and I haven't found it yet.

It basically fell on the driver side of the engine bay. Is it dangerous just to leave it there? Any advice how to track this sucker down.

Eventually every 911 owner gets one of those magnetic retrieval tools that looks like a pen. Handy to fish around and try to find it. Otherwise I'd leave it, assuming we're not talking actually "in the engine".

+1 on the magnet. I would make sure it is not down in the pulley area. You don't want it to get cought in the alternator belt or A/C belt.
