PS- Can I buy the cruise control cable?
Ed if you need a cruise control cable send me a PM. I have the one I took of my 86 Targa when I added a cage. Make me an offer.

The Targa top does need to worked on. Maybe a less expensive alternative would be just to pick up a fiberglass top.
What's the car worth?

I've seen articles for replacing the fuel lines - engine area but not this particular piece. I work lots and stay busy otherwise. Glad someone else has seen her in person. The color is a little unique.

Not sure. Budgeting for the return tube replacement, the fuel line, and targa top repair, and possibly a valve adjustment depending on when it was last done, plus the paint work I am not sure. Maybe somewhere around $8-12K as it sits and depending on what a PPI and leakdown would say. Because of the color, I think it's worth saving. I wouldn't mind it as a long term driver/project.

That's what I thought. I started around $15k and subtracted for paint ($3000), top ($1000), and another $1k misc.

A lift a lift my kingdom for a lift. If I could pick it up . . .

If I seem to be undecided and struggling with a decision it's because my bike track days will soon be at an end - hurts to much hanging off. Track day in the (a) car is a natural progression. I just hate seeing her haunched their under a cover waiting until then.

I'm seriously considering pouring piers in the drive for a two post lift. The driveway is gravel.
