My SC has a slight backfire. I'm thinking about installing a one way pop off valve. What should I do, what should I DO?

PMOs. JK

You should unplug the 02 sensor and turn it to full rich, bump the timing 10* BTDC, and put a jumper wire on the throttle contact switch. Remove and plug all the vacuum lines and run some Seafoam thru the gas tank.

I'm from the same region as Iceman (southern Ontario) and I can say that we have had some very cold weather this past week (much colder than seasonable), although it has turned around over the past weekend!
