Very sad to see the demise of another beautiful 911 :-(
Glad you and your daughter are OK.
Hope to see you back posting the progress of your project if/when you get to it.

My daughter was in the front seat also in a booster seat. I checked with our local county sheriff and verified that due to no airbags in the car and no 3 points in the rear, it was best for her to ride in the booster in the front. She was shaken up because she didn't know what happened or that it was coming.
I caught something out of the corner of my eye at the last minute in the rearview mirror and it turned out it was Toyota logo on her grill! I didn't have time to react obviously but just knew impact was imminent.
My ins. company is Travelers. They were great. It was a huge difference between them and her company (Liberty Mutual). I won't go into the details, but just say I will never use them or endorse them and they were trying to take advantage of me at every turn.

You deserve nothing but the best of luck for what U have just experienced. You just had that on one main front (ie. both of you escaped without injury)....you will be lucky on the other front to (ie. getting a well cared for 911 in the classic mould). It may take time, but IT WILL HAPPEN. Trust me.

Good luck in the search for the next one.

Sorry to hear about this, but as you say the bottom line is...you're both fine.
GL on your next purchase, have fun looking, and it's nice to know you have a good insurance carrier!

The way i feel about my car, i can just imagine how you must have felt. Thankfully no one was injured!
On another note, what are you doing with the seats, are they electric?

Wow, too bad! That car exudes true “niceness”, it was a special one.
I guess the woman probably feels pretty bad about it. At the end of the day, that is life and we all make our dumb mistakes. I hope she will take some good lessons from here.
Overall it sounds like things have gone OK. The car is living on in other projects and a Cayman S is a great car and I would really love to have one! It is a true Porsche that you will really enjoy and some day when you get an air cooled “project” going, that will be its own great experience!
