Default Do 911s mate ?

After listening to the constant complaints of both my daughters being constantly shoe horned into the backseats of dad's cars and my wife bickering with every Costco run ..... my two 911s (now together for about 10 months in my garage) did mate. But the baby 911 was just a tad bit overweight and darker in complexion ..

Let all the punishing remarks begin ....

Amar - all I have to say is

So many Porsche's, So little money

You my friend are truely blessed and no one can say anything negative about a guy with a garage like you have (and well balanced with family, career, a good heart and a willingness to share and care)

Bravo, you finaly got a black one!!! Love it!!!

I call paternity test! If two 911s mated, would they produce an SUV? Better take a look at the mailman's truck.

Amar, congrats. I think they are great. They are what you'd get if Porsche built SUV's and for me, thank goodness they do. I almost bought one in '08 when we were moving back to Calif, but in the end "cheaped out" and bought my Ridgeline.

After spending some good wheel time I'm convinced that the Cayenne S is the sports car of SUVs and Cayenne turbo the super car of SUVs.

Thank you for some very thoughtfully written positive comments about me Ed. It means a lot to me to be appreciated by my 911 family. Here is my medical history:

The disease: porscheitis (date of infection Sept 2009)
Initial therapy with an antibiotic: 997 (Great drug but the virulent bug was resistant to the drug after an initial partial response) requiring
Follow-up therapy with a potent old-school antibiotic 3.2.
To protect myself from any additional damage in the form of a exposure to another bug ie. pre-impact bumper 911, the family insisted that I be vaccinated to protect them with a booster dose of Cayenne

WB, thank you. I'm doing a la icon series .. starting a series of threads geared towards helping out potential future Cayenne owners. Each thread will highlight every option included in that will be pictures of the option, explanation of it's function, day to day utility value and my review. You will love it I'm sure.

Done Marc, hesitantly though since it's Mrs.w00t's ride.

I think there is a big 997 genetic component though.

Ed, especially this current gen Cayenne (totally different beast given the weight loss, more powerful engine and suspension upgrades) ... more worthy of the Porsche badge. Trust me I'm not lying.

What a quote.....I couldn't have said it better. You are one special person. I admire you. Hopefully one day we shall meet Ed.

Congrats Amar, I love the interior. I have a 2010 Sport Trac Adrenalin and love it but that interior is sweet. Looking forward to your threads so I can make an unpopular household decision.

More of self-deprecation...... I'm referring to me being in the glass house and throwing rocks at your Cayenne...... I can't point fingers at others for owning a Cayenne since I have one, too.

Consider it very dry humor

That's one big baby!

A nice looking one, too...I absolutely love that interior.

I'm betting Mrs. w00t is not going to want to share the keys! A shrewd move on your part, Amar...

As an X5 driver...admittedly not quite the same vehicle...I can tell you it's amazing how nimble 5000 (or more) pounds can be.

Drive her in good health!

If they mate again, and you are running out of room, I will kindly adopt any new offspring. :-)
Congrats!
Great looking addition, and great pics as usual.
