Post Price for a 3.6L 911 Engine?

What is a reasonable/market price for a 3.6L engine from a 1990 Carrera. Assume 43,000 miles and good compression & leak down. All wiring etc. for the changeover included.

Any input appreciated!

Thanks, Jason

Is over $8000 too much for the above mentioned engine?

Any input appreciated.

I paid $5000 a year and a half ago for a 1993 964 engine with brain, exhaust, etc. and only 17,000 miles on it. So, unless it comes with some sort of special mods (if you're doing a swap), or some sort of ironclad guarantee, then yes, it's too much to pay. I have a good source of the engines in Germany. Email me if you're interested.

I'm certainly no expert on this, but I thought 1990 was one of the bad years for these cars. Sounds like Jack got a steal. Take his advice.
