Post Decklid Shocks/Weatherstripping

I have just replaced the rear decklid shocks. On the driverside the rear decklid is noticeably pushed out due to the force of the new rear shocks. Can someone tell me how to correct this?

Also, I have replaced the weatherstripping under the front truck. However it does not want to close due to the new weatherstripping. I have even adjusted the lower locking mechanism.

Thanks,

Muchell

No solutions here, just a comment. Does your car have a whale tail? The rear lid without a spoiler only uses a single shock.

I'm guessing that you have the spoiler but just in case.

Wayne,

Yes I do have a whale tail. I have two shocks to support the whale tail. Also, there's a little play with the decklid. For instance if I hit a bump the decklid rattles a little.

Thanks,

Muchell
