Default Looking for good shop to do a PPI in Annapolis, Maryland area

Hopefully, I am close to finding the right first Porsche for me and several forums suggest finding a good local shop not the dealer for a thorough PPI. I also want them to perform a compression/leakdown test....any suggestions of a shop within an hour or less in the Annapolis, Maryland area?

Thanks...............

In no way am I trying to run you off, just thinking out loud that a local porsche board may be better at finding that shop.

The first Porsche that I fell in love with was in Fairfax, Va so I kinda had to poke around there myself.

Good luck in finding the 911 of your dreams.

EDIT: OH SNAP!!!

I know several of the guys in Annapolis and they tend to desire to use a guy in Reistertown or Owings Mills, Md. Thats north west of Baltimore. I just dont remember the shops name.

You can try TPC Racing in Jessup, Md. I have a 964 and live about a half hour from them. I haven't been there yet but I spoke to them on the phone, labor rate is 100.00 hr. From what I heard they are really good. I do know they have a car they race in the ALMS and Sebring. Next time something comes up that I can't handle I'm going to try them.
