Really glad Loren came through on this,..love the language.

I just buttoned her up for the day,..decided to not get into the window elements, and ,.instead, get a few things DONE:

Like loading some ****ty rear deck speakers to replace the originally blown Blaupunks...will be sending them to my reconer for expert repair, as I'd like to keep the originals and have them workin (even as crappy as they are),..rear deck back together (vinyl now with a small tear around speaker and in need of a reqork,..oh well,..looks easy enough,..LATER, however. A little better fill from the rear now but who could possibly (really) care in a 911? I like the band called "FLAT SIX"....!!!!!! She'll be heading in for a fresh fuel pump and hose rework Monday week by the wrench (no time here),..dropping in a fresh battery, to boot.

I've got most of the main work done now so that I present her to my wrench with a fresh dist cap, fresh rotor, fresh plugs, cleaned ICV, oil and filter just changed, new air filter, fresh belts, readjusted E-brake, pads/rotors inspected (good), wheel bearings good, Idle control and WOT switches checked today (dead on)............

On going,..

Doyle

Pretty cool of you, Loren, to draw that, and now we've got it in the body of knowledge here. Thanks!

Doyle, you may want to keep the Blau's, but I tossed my OEM Nokia's in the 993, and put a set of Polk 4X6's and 6 1/2's rear and front in the 993, and they sound great! $99 a pair to boot! I can't believe I have a car I'm spending money on in the stereo dept!

Although I didn't get into any circuit measurements, I will say that VR1 is factory adjusted (visually, that is) at almost fully CW (engine running).

Best!

That's already been posted many times here on both the 944 and the 911
forums. Just do a search.
